Aegon Manchester Trophy

My first couple of days of tennis in the next couple weeks were spent at the Aegon Manchester Trophy at the Northern Tennis Club.

Tennis is my favourite sport to shoot, I played it for years and my big break in sports photography was at Wimbledon.

There were some great players including Dustin Brown who beat Rafa last year at Wimbledon and the really exciting Sam Groth who holds the fastest serve record. Both were great to shoot – Brown with his serve and volley game and dreadlocks flying everywhere and Groth’s intensity.
