Rehearsals are fun for me and usually pretty stressful for everyone else. However, Teja creates such a sense of calm with the cast and crew that it was just fun day after fun day. We did extra promo shots with the cast in costumes. Very simple setup, one actor a minute during the lunch break but it came out really nice.
And some informal shots during the shoot
Real pro setup as you can see, particularly the Maltesers
The dress rehearsals were all done in a community centre. It was great light for me but seemed really odd as theatres are never like that. So despite the low ISO’s and faster shutter speeds (which make life much easier), the photos didn’t quite feel right. However, I think they document the rehearsals well.
We also did a vid showing the rehearsal process, big thanks to Ryan Boocock for helping with the filming
