PR

PR work is something I have developed when working for SWNS. 90% of what we do is news but every now and again we do PR work. Its exposed me to working for a wide variety of clients with a set brief with a lot of pictures to get per job. More than that though I feel its important to understand the style of photo the client likes.

Through working for companies such as STIHL and Sportcel a number of times I know the style of image they require in addition to the brief I am given.

Bikefest was the first time I worked for Sportcel and its always nerve racking working for someone for the first time. My brief was long but I was excited to do the best job I could through action shots and family shots. The location they picked was fantastic. Down by the Imax cinema in Birmingham with incredible views onto the city as the bikers flew through the air.

Sportcel also do a lot of football in conjunction with Continental tyres which suits me really well with my sports photography background.

STIHL are always fun to work for, great people and always interesting work. They sponsor Leicester Tigers and also like photos done of people working with their tools.

Brief was to get the players with STIHL branding in the background
